Overview
Cross the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka pass to the famous kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate.
This is a long but unforgettable day. You cross the High Atlas Mountains on the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka road, at 2,260 metres, with Berber villages clinging to the slopes.
On the other side lies Aït Ben Haddou, a fortified village of red earth listed by UNESCO and used in many films, from Gladiator to Game of Thrones. With a local guide you climb to the top of the ksar for a stunning view. You then continue to Ouarzazate, the "gateway to the desert", before returning to Marrakech in the evening.

Itinerary
Day 1Marrakech – Tizi n'Tichka – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
7:00 – Pick-up at your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
9:00 – Cross the High Atlas Mountains by the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m), with photo stops at the best viewpoints.
11:00 – Arrival in Aït Ben Haddou. Visit the ksar with a local guide and climb to the top for the panoramic view.
12:30 – Lunch in a restaurant facing the kasbah (not included).
14:00 – Continue to Ouarzazate: the Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous film studios (entrance not included).
15:30 – Departure for Marrakech.
19:30 – Arrival at your hotel or riad.
