Casablanca, Gateway to Morocco
Morocco’s biggest city, where Art Deco boulevards meet the Atlantic and the Hassan II Mosque rises above the waves. Many of our tours begin here.
About Casablanca
Discover Casablanca
Casablanca is Morocco’s modern heart and the main gateway for international flights. It is a city of wide boulevards, white Art Deco buildings from the 1930s and a long ocean promenade.
The highlight is the Hassan II Mosque, built partly over the sea, with a minaret over 200 metres high. It is one of the few mosques in Morocco that visitors can enter on a guided tour.
We usually meet our travellers at Mohammed V Airport, show them the best of the city in half a day, then set off for Rabat, Fes, Marrakech or the Sahara.
