Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Casablanca, you’ll embark on a guided tour of the city, beginning at 2 PM. The tour includes a visit to the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world and a marvel of modern Islamic architecture. You’ll also explore the city’s key landmarks, including the charming Habous Quarter, known for its traditional architecture and bustling souks. The tour continues with visits to United Nations Square, the Central Market, and the bustling Mohammad V Avenue, the heart of the city center.
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Casablanca at 8 AM and drive you to Tangier, offering a scenic journey along the Moroccan coast (approximately 4 hours). Upon arrival in Tangier, you'll be greeted by our local guide and driver, who will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name.
In Tangier, you'll explore the charming, narrow streets of the Kasbah, visit Cap Spartel for stunning panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea, and discover the historic American Legation, the first American-owned property outside the United States. You'll also explore the Museum of Moroccan Arts, which highlights traditional Moroccan craftsmanship, and experience the lively atmosphere of the Grand Socco, where locals go about their daily routines.
A highlight of the tour includes a visit to the legendary Caves of Hercules, a site steeped in mythology and believed to be the resting place of Hercules himself. At 9 AM, we set off for Chefchaouen, one of Morocco's most picturesque towns, renowned for its stunning blue-and-white-painted buildings. Chefchaouen offers a tranquil atmosphere, making it a favorite destination for hikers and photographers alike. During the tour, you’ll explore the medina, where we’ll visit notable landmarks such as the Kasbah, the Great Mosque, and the Spanish Mosque.
As you wander through the local souks, you'll also witness artisans at work, crafting traditional pottery, weaving, and making authentic Moroccan clothing. The tour includes a stop at a scenic viewpoint that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the town and the surrounding Rif Mountains. After a full day of exploring this charming town, we'll spend the night in Chefchaouen, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in its serene beauty.
Start your day at 9 AM with a journey from Chefchaouen to Fez, stopping at two of Morocco’s most historic sites along the way. The tour begins with a visit to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, dating back to the 3rd century BC. Volubilis, one of the best-preserved Roman sites in North Africa, offers a captivating look into the region’s ancient history, featuring landmarks such as the Capitoline Temple, the Basilica, and the well-preserved homes of wealthy Roman citizens.
After exploring Volubilis, continue to Fez for an overnight stay, where you'll have time to relax and prepare for the following day's adventure in this vibrant city.
The Fez City Tour offers an in-depth exploration of one of Morocco's most historic and culturally rich cities. You’ll wander through the ancient medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, discovering narrow streets, and visiting landmarks like the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Dar Batha Museum, and the Bou Jeloud Gardens. Travel from Fez to Merzouga, a journey that takes you from the medieval city to the desert landscapes of Merzouga, passing through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains and Ziz Valley, where you’ll see traditional Berber villages and stunning vistas. Once in Merzouga, experience the thrill of camel trekking and spend the night in a traditional desert camp. You’ll cross the dunes, admire the sunset, and enjoy a traditional dinner accompanied by Berber rhythms, before spending the night under the stars in a nomad tent.
Rise early to watch the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes (optional), then continue your journey to Ouarzazate via the Boumalne Dades Valley. Explore the valley’s kasbahs, palm groves, and traditional Berber houses, and learn about local culture and way of life. You’ll also visit the dramatic Todra Gorges, offering spectacular views and excellent hiking opportunities. After a lunch break, the tour continues to Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert," where you’ll have the chance to visit the Atlas Film Studios, famous for being the filming location of many notable movies.
Enjoy a scenic drive from Ouarzazate to Marrakech, winding through the beautiful Atlas Mountains. One of the highlights of this journey is a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. This well-preserved fortress-like village has been a popular filming location for movies and TV shows, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After exploring the Kasbah and soaking in the views, the journey continues to Marrakech, a vibrant city often referred to as the "Pearl of the South."
Spend a full day exploring Marrakech, beginning with a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s largest mosque and a significant landmark. The tour then takes you to the Saadian Tombs, where members of the Saadian dynasty, who ruled Morocco in the 16th and 17th centuries, are buried. Next, visit the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century palace known for its intricate tilework and beautiful gardens. The tour also includes a visit to the souks, where you can browse for spices, textiles, pottery, and jewelry.
After a lunch break, continue to the Jardin Secret, dating back to the Saadian Dynasty over four hundred years ago. It is part of the great tradition of stately Arab-Andalusian and Moroccan palaces, with gardens and buildings that are fine examples of Islamic art and architecture. The day concludes with a visit to the Menara Gardens, a large public park built in the 12th century, known for its large pond, olive groves, and stunning views of the Atlas Mountains.
On your final day in Marrakech, we will arrange your transfer to the airport according to your flight departure, marking the end of your Moroccan adventure.
