Moroccan Desert and Atlas Adventure

Depart from Marrakech after breakfast and travel through the scenic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the historic Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, along the way. Continue to Boumalne Dades, where you will check into your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure, soaking in the stunning views of the Dades Valley. Overnight in Boumalne Dades.

After breakfast, explore the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Valley and the nearby Todra Gorges, known for their towering rock formations. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, embark on a camel trek into the dunes to experience the stunning desert sunset. Spend the night in a traditional desert camp under the stars. Overnight in Merzouga.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Merzouga and the surrounding desert. Visit local nomadic families, take a 4x4 tour of the desert, or explore the mesmerizing landscapes of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Return to your desert camp for another night under the stars or choose to stay in a nearby hotel if preferred. Overnight in Merzouga.

After breakfast, depart for Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” En route, enjoy the scenic drive through the Ziz Valley. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah and optionally the Atlas Film Studios. Spend the night in Ouarzazate. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains once more. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day exploring or relaxing. Discover the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, visit the Koutoubia Mosque, or enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. Conclude your Moroccan adventure with a transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
